1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using opsbash.com ("the Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Site.
2. Free service
All tools and content on opsbash.com are provided free of charge. There are no paid plans, no subscription fees, and no feature paywalls. We reserve the right to add optional paid services in the future, but all currently available tools will remain free.
3. Educational and informational purposes
The tools and content on opsbash.com are provided for educational and informational purposes only. They are intended to help you learn, understand, and prototype cron expressions and related scheduling syntax — not to serve as a substitute for testing in your own environment.
Content on this site, including articles, examples, and tool output, is educational in nature. It should not be relied upon as the sole basis for production configuration decisions.
4. No guarantee of accuracy — verify before production use
While we strive to make our tools accurate, opsbash.com makes no guarantee that any tool output — including generated cron expressions — is correct, complete, or suitable for your specific use case.
Cron syntax differs between platforms (Linux crontab, AWS EventBridge, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions), and edge cases exist that our tools may not handle correctly. Before deploying any cron expression or schedule to a production environment:
- Test the expression in a staging or development environment first.
- Verify the schedule fires at the expected times by reviewing the next run times.
- Consult the official documentation for your target platform (Linux man crontab, AWS EventBridge docs, Kubernetes API reference, etc.).
- Have a monitoring plan in place to detect if a scheduled job does not run as expected.
5. Limitation of liability
OpsBash is not liable for any issues, damages, or losses caused by the use of incorrect, misconfigured, or misunderstood cron expressions generated or validated using this site. This includes but is not limited to:
- Jobs that run too frequently or not at all due to an incorrect expression.
- Data loss, service outages, or billing overruns caused by misconfigured schedules.
- Security incidents resulting from improperly timed automation tasks.
- Any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of this site.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, OpsBash's total liability for any claim arising from use of this site shall not exceed zero dollars ($0), as the Site is provided entirely free of charge.
6. Acceptable use
You may use opsbash.com for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:
- Use the Site in any way that violates applicable local, national, or international laws or regulations.
- Attempt to disrupt, compromise, or interfere with the Site's infrastructure or security.
- Scrape, crawl, or systematically index the Site's content without prior written permission.
- Use automated tools to generate excessive or abusive traffic to the Site.
7. Intellectual property
All content on opsbash.com — including text, tool designs, and source code — is the property of OpsBash unless otherwise noted. You may not reproduce or redistribute Site content without prior written permission. Generated tool output (such as cron expressions) is not subject to copyright and may be used freely.
8. Changes to terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes take effect upon posting to this page. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
